Another mugging at Curzon, had enough chances in the 2nd half to have won by 3 clear goals. First half they shaded, should have been behind, they missed a couple of sitters However, Rushie missed a one on one with the keeper. To be honest 1st half was pretty poor entertainment.
Apart from when they scabbed an equaliser, there was only one team in it, Fozzie hit the post, Helliwell should have done better when through as well, Jacko took his goal well.
Their goal came from a thrown which should have gone to us, it was a cross which came off Ubes a flew over Wolfie into the net. After that they bombarded us, but compared to last season, they were a poor side.
2 points dropped.

Curzon don't care much for Mr Clifford either.

Speaking purely as a neutral (well, a neutral who didn't want Curzon to win) I've got to say that the game for the most part was rather poor.
As themaclad has said Curzon edged the first half, City the second but you had by far and away the better chanches. That said, if wasn't for a fluke goal you'd be celebrating thee points.

If they could head a ball we would have conceed three. But we should have scored four so that evens it out!
Stringy looks good a centre back and doesn't miss much in the air.
It's the third game I seen us in an everyone has big centre backs but when we turn them we look dangerous everytime.

Sorry. All the microphone picked up was the high pitched squeals of Curzon's future ASBO awardees.
