Great start to the campaign with Foster, Helliwell and Marshall getting the goals. Jimmy Love wasnt playing either as I saw him down on Willow Lane today.

You can say that again. :wink: Game of two halves, we were great first half, but then it went tits up. Last minute Jacko pulled a Distraction Gambit, Harrogate fell for it hook line and sinker and we had four in the box lining up to score; Helliwell did the honours. Worst news was the sending off of Heffernan, center back position open, anyone?? If no one comes in it'll have to be me or alasher! :shock:

not really such a great start!....after the first five minutes we dominated the first half,but were woeful in the second,& would have been lucky to have come away with a point,God knows how we snatched all three.Some good players on show,but I didnt think the blend worked out right.The defence was a worry,we always looked likely to conceed.Maybe things will improve with Stringie playing at center half while Guy serves his (probably) three match ban,despite Stimmo's misgivings about that as voiced in the Guardian

Whats this Decent Start :?: I think you will find if we get 3pts each game,we could win the league :) A good day out and to bring back 3pts,you can,t beat that :D

Er....from memory Thornley, Riggers, Heffers, Greenwood, Marshall, Ward, Stringy, Dodgy, Rushton, Fildes, Fozzy Subs: Helliwell, Ubes, Jacko, Entwistle (n/u), Price (n/u). I might be wrong and I was going to tell you which sub came on for whom, but my alcohol fused memory isn't up to it.
