P.A. System
is there any reason why the Giant Axe P.A. system proves to be barely audible in some parts of the ground this season? It seemed to be OK last season. Is it just old and knackered perhaps?

System is in the throes of being rewired. Hopefully to be comleted this next week.

..........and a half decent announcer wouldn't go amiss because I don't know about anybody else (well.........I do really) but the lad that does it at the moment, bless him, with all the best will in the world which I don't dispute he has, is nothing short of chocolate fireguardesque, nay, in no uncertain terms, perceived in a good many quarters as a veritable prize prannock on the old perspicacity and elocution fronts. The other day I could've sworn I saw him grilling lettuce.
