| Announcement: one for the anoraks.......? |

after we beat bishop auk in the chall' cup.....we got to play the p.swales shield v's stalybridge. they were the npl winners that season.
now we know it was delayed due to bower fold being re-layed in the summer...and TH sent out the kids , and we got royally humped (9-0 was it?)i know i spent the 2nd half in a nearby pub lol....so don't remember the score tbh.
HOWEVER...to my real point.....who did we play the season before after we beat worksop? who were the champions that season.....and did we win? i can't for the life of me recall that game...if indeed there was one played at all! perhaps i was away on jollies or something?
can anyone help clear the befuddled mists of my mind????
