Maybe you were too busy singing songs about Cantana to notice the brilliant open game?

Or maybe 20mins or so doesnt make a game (which lasts 90+mins).

Agree with Allergic that City seemed nervous and too respectful for much of first half...but what lovely attacking football after half-time. And credit to Tony for the attacking substitutions, which helped work the magic. (thanks too to their manager for taking Rocca off--was he off his Rocca?). A superb game of Cup football--Maclad, if you were at Deepdale, you missed a treat.

Depends what you mean by a treat Very Happy Not the best at the stadium of the football museum today

Sorry people, haven't been able to get to a pc until today but felt I should come back on - following my original posting - and let you know how I saw the day. My verdict - a cracker of a game. I have to say I was well impressed with everything. The one-touch pass and move football played by your team, (so unlike so many of our opponents) their never-say-die attitude despite twice being two goals down, the banter with your excellent fans, the stewarding and the all round experience of coming to Giant Axe. A pity in my view that we don't get the chance to play you very often. Thanks also to those who have made very generous comments elsewhere on here about our support. I wish more had made the journey, but those who stayed at home missed a treat. Let's all hope for another belter tomorrow night. I hope as many of you as possible are able to get down to Gigg. I know it's a long way midweek, but do your best. You will be most welcome.

I asked for the replay and am looking forward to it.
